Reviving the blog - egos in Mulshi!

wow what an amazing start to the day! 5 egos got together at Irani Cafe bavdhan for a quick breakfast of omelette pav and sandwich and then realized Mulshi wasn't far from Chandni Chowk so made an 'impromptu' decision to go there. On the way it took Rally 10 mins to remember the word impromptu which he was struggling with for a long time. Finally he decided to take the help of his friends in desperation, knowing fully well after that he would have exposed his skill levels in English. Egos everywhere! As we crossed Bedi's cafe (and skipped going in), the weather turned beautiful with a hint of rain and clouds descending over the hills. some real scenic views that we captured om camera.

What are you jokers and SP upto?  Before I get tagged 'untrue',  Happy belated birthday Ra and KP! Hope fun came :)

I'm wondering if it would be a good idea for all of you UNCLES to plan a trip here. Amtya isn't too far and I'm sure he will be able to 'accommodate' a Ego's re-union considering the fact that the last time he was in Pune, he didn't meet any of you? Unacceptable. Wait, did you guys know Amtya was in Pune during Christmas 2015 in the first place???

A reunion doesn't sound too far fetched. Actually, just the UNCLES getting together for some quality "sajjan" time together sounds even better than a holiday with family. Don't tell your wives I suggested it though. I can sense KP jumping up and down with joy already hahahahahahaha!!

Egos in Connecticut

Moving to connecticut recently brought me in a 40 mile radius with KP which was welcomed by both of us. KP came over last weekend and we had a great time meeting up. It was a well spent Sunday and Dhruv and Tanvi got to meet their daddy's childhood pal - KP uncle :) Here are some pics of the same.

ego bonding - Sri Sri KP and Andu - NYC/Hew haven leg

An active weekend for the egos

The return of KP provided just the catalyst that was needed for the egos in Pune to get together. KP, SP and I met up for dinner in Flags restaurant near Inox Pune and had a great time. SP as usual was at the receiving end but being the magnanimous person he is accepted everything graciously. Considering that SP has 40+ minions reporting to him, KP and I were just added to them. Here is a look at SP the seth, the zameendar and the big boss ...

Oh and btw, for those who don't know there's a new guide in town who has the addresses, rates and details of the best masseurs, strip joints etc etc in various major towns. No its not KP ... and its not Andu either ...

Interesting thing to note that KP is now a complete non-smoker, non-drinker and has even become vegetarian! Came as quite a surprise considering the KP we know :) KP also shared a few details (sparingly) about Andu's visit to New Haven where he stayed with KP for a month while KP's wife was back in India. I think this much information is enough for everyone to figure out the rest ... (don't worry Andu - he hasnt revealed the gory details)

We finished dinner and then drove around town a bit generally visiting old places - FC road, deccan etc. and came back to good old NCL. Drove through the colony and stopped at D-II near Kp's and Ra's plac at 11 in the night and reminisced some good old times. Also drove down saw cultural center, multi-storeyed buildings (oops sorry I meant SP's high-rise) and children's park (fortunately there was no one there at 11 making children). Oh I forgot to mention, we tried calling Razzez 3 times at least before and during dinner and the useless guy didnt pick up the phone or return our call.

Next day when dear Razzez called back, it turns out he was right in Pune and not in Mumbai and would have been with us for dinner if only he had picked up our calls. After the best gaalies we could think of, we decided this was the day for all to meet up once again else it would be some time before we could make it happen. Morning Kiran and KP visited SP's new high rise - a plush apartment in the hillside with breathtaking views so I hear. In the afternoon KP and Razzez came over to Ra's place and SP soon followed suit with family. Was a great afternoon and evening including lots of chit chat looking through some old pics of NCL gang at D-II and talking to Andu in B'lore. Junior egos (read Tarun, Dhruv and Tanvi) also got together and showed each other some ego.



Razzez was made to feel at home with some old time fondling to remind him that he's still the Pamela Anderson of the group.

Plan is now that once Rally comes into Pune, we should all get together again and hopefully Andu will be able to join us in Pune!
